stream mp3 problem

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I have a problem with my car ( Octavia 2 1.9 TDI Elegance ) stream mp3. It is is locked and displays the message PHONE, does not respond to any command and and remains so even when I close my car.

Service technicians have told me that they did an update and have not found any error message and the only solution is to replace it.

I dont know what to do, any advice or help on this would be great.

Thanks in advance,

cisi

Does it have a phone kit fitted, or has it had in the past?

The radio will stay on if getting a signal up the phone mute connections

Have you disconnected it from the battery for a while?

After trying the other suggestions so far (above and below!) I would get it replaced ASAP under warranty - I think the stream is now discontinued so I suggest you contact Skoda CS very soon as I say if in warranty, mine went faulty and was replaced under warranty (different fault) took about 6 months to replace & 1st replacement was faulty as well (!) second replacement seems fine.

In frustration I fitted a standard radio/cd with aftermarket fittings which worked well - might be worth fitting if yours is not in warranty.

pm me if you need help...............

Blue skies & calm seas!

Try to turn the 'phone' option off using the menu button - I had to enable mine to get the phone mute to work so you might get lucky and clear the fault by turning this option off. From memory it is on the second page of the menus.
