Hi, my drivers seat memory buttins have started playing up, they work intermittently, the seat motors work on the manual settings, but memory is hit and miss, any ideas please?

could this problem be linked with the dreaded water ingress that i have not had but seem to have some of the problems associated with it.

Ye i had the same problem last year when i first got my car. I cant remember how i fixed it exactly. But try the 'on/off' switch on the left hand indicator stalk or try moving knob for the electric mirrors.I know it sounds a bit wild, but the mirror knob is connected to the seat memory to control the passenger side reverse mirror function... HTH but probably wont
