Saying Bye Bye to my Octavia.

Featured Replies

Well guys, it's been fun, but it's been decided by a higher power (my wife) that the Octavia is too big for her day to day needs so it's time to say goodbye. I don't drive the car much since i got my C'e'e'd SW so i cant really argue with her. Our poverty spec taxi driver special will be leaving us on Wednesday night. *Sniff*

But the good news is ..... it's getting replaced with another Skoda, a 1.4 PD80 Furby to be exact. I've had it out for a blast, and the little 3-cyl engine is a hoot. It definitely sounds like half a V6, and has a decent bit of go for such a small engine. The new kid is also poverty spec, but at least i wont be getting asked how much the fare is to ........ every 5 minutes :)

So...... i'll be relocating to a different part of the forum. Thanks to everyone who has helped me out with advice on my Octy over the past couple of years, and i look forward to asking more dumb questions just down the street emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

Nice to see your sticking with Skoda, best of look with the Fabia.

i must confess to have driven the 3cyl diesel fabia, and was suprised by how well it went and sounded for sucha small engine, i had the mk1 octy 90bhp at the time.

Have fun! B)

A good compromise I'd say
