alarm indicators

Hi,wondered if anyone can help,just bought a v6tdi superb auto,very cheap and have a couple of minor probs,first is alarm,when i lock doors(both ways)the alarm sets and works if you open doors etc but the indicators don't flash,they work fine for turn,hazard,also the puddle lights don't work,everything else is ok,no wet carpets

Do your doors deadlock properly when you lock the car? I disconnected the wiring to one of my doors to try and fix a problem and this stopped them deadlocking and in turn flashing the indicators. It sounds like it locks it self twice if it is deadlocking.

It is possible to de-activate the indicators from flashing on locking/unlocking the car with VCDS ......... however considering the puddle lights do not work as well, i would be checking the CCM and the nodes that are going to it for corrosion (it may of had the water ingress and been sealed - but best to check)

yes mate i am sure its deadlocking,the sound is there

The CCM is underneath the carpet under the passenger seat.
