  1. Actually now I think about it you are right, it’s been a while since I’ve done a MK2
  2. Did you swap your cable as per your other post? If so then try 31347.
  3. No most of the V2 interfaces will be locked. you can scan a car without using up a VIN but not code anything. Im not sure if it uses a VIN if you clear all DTC’s
  4. Moved to a more relevant section.
  5. You need HEX+CAN or the latest HEX-V2 (or HEX-NET) for a MKII Superb.
  6. Welcome The only language to be used on Briskoda is English, using a translator service (google etc) is absolutely fine.
  7. Ideally I need 8”, but I’ll keep an eye on these. 👍🏻
  8. Yes send someone who has VCDS a message there is a link in my signature.
  9. Do you know the width and ET of them? Im only down the road in New Romney.
  10. You need VCDS etc to clear the light. It came on due to you turning the ignition on with the plug disconnected
  11. The CTS is a common failure, but ideally a scan will confirm this before throwing unnecessary parts at the car, its location can be seen in this video, it’s at the rear of the block not in the expansion tank. https://youtu.be/PlfoTKb2KHA?si=cr_818gxlawYVxEW
  12. Correct, which is crazy IMO, it sounds like they have been coded to be on.
  13. Why would you want them off? Auto lights are notorious for people driving around in poor visibility and no rear side lights. Personally I always code them to be on.
  14. Welcome David. TBH if you aren't going to use it regularly you are better off finding someone local to code the car for you for a few beer tokens. I imagine most things are going to be locked with SFD though, so you will need someone who can also do that (most owners won't be able to do this but it can be done with certain OBDeleven subscriptions... I personally unlock with OBDeleven then code with VCDS.) Take a look in the link in my signature for someone local to you with VCDS.
  15. Looked and test drove a few: Enyaq vRS Coupé Drove nice, but it’s quite a tall bulky car, make sure it has the HUD. Kia EV6 Looks very nice, but no decent Matrix headlights (no distance with then) Ioniq 5 Not as nice as the EV6 ID.3 Tour (77 kWh) 3 years into ownership and it’s a nice car. ID.7 Very nice and loaded with toys, nice enough for me to order one! More and more Tesla Superchargers are being open up to other brands and they are usually cheaper (but not cheap)

  17. Welcome, I've moved the post to somewhere more suitable. Whilst the Bilstein B6 is very impressive it would IMO be a shame to lose the DCC as I really loved it, sporty (for such a big car) when required and uber luxurious (almost boat like!) for when parents are in the car.
  18. AIUI it's a detuned version of the TTS engine, these do suffer with water pump failure. Nothing more to add really than ALL the points Nick has just raised.
  19. Welcome. It's more than likely going to need coding to your car with VCDS etc. I know when people upgrade to a Columbus they have to be coded.
  20. More than likely yes. Save the scan then clear the DTC's, then rescan after a few miles to what if anything is still a fault.
  21. @MartiniB What do your following abbreviations represent?: * ** *** ??? --- clearly means it doesn't work (on your vehicle, at least, probably on all?) I.E. NOK (Not OK)
  22. It is worth noting that many VAG owners have reported that the: "One-Click Apps – pre-made car coding applications designed to simplify your customization journey" can and will also change totally unrelated and unnecessary coding on some controllers / cars, please bear this in mind and use at your own risk, personally I would ALWAYS recommend you do the physical coding manually yourself (after a little research in what to change). Myself and several other VCDS owners have had requests to try and revert coding done with these Apps.
  23. A couple of corrections (Ross-Tech's definitions) and a few additions: 3C – Side assist - This is actually: 3C – Lane Change 8C - Hybrid Battery - This is actually: 8C - HV Battery (High Voltage) C0 - Act. for Ext. Noise (external speaker for EV noise) 8105 - DC/DC Converter 12V 8123 - App server 1 system 1 adaptive 8124 - App server 1 system 2 Java 8125 - App server 3 system 1 infotaint. 8128 - Light line display
