just picked up a octavia and it has two of those's chrome letters you get in halfords on each front wing.

whats the best way of removeing them without doing any damage

A tar remover would probably do the trick. Autoglym do a good one. I'd apply some it it, let it soak and try and see if you can peel it off.

i did think of useing a hair dryer to soft'en the glue then a bit of wd40 to get of anything left over :wonder:
