I enquired with the dealer im buying my FL vrs from about getting a spoiler fitted on the estate.

He's checked the system to order one though and said its discontinued, even for the pre FL model too :(

Has anybody heard anything about a new one being developed? If not am I likely to source one in Britain from remaining stock and Ill get it fitted myself?

Id really like to get one fitted to this vrs as i think it really finishes them off

People have fitted the spoiler to FL cars but there seems to be an issue with part of it rubbing as you lift the boot. I wanted one too but did not get it due to this problem.

yeah, id read that thread too but was thinking of taking a risk if they wouldnt order it for the new one and order the old one while Ive got the old car. If it needed altering then id get a bodyshop to modify it slightly.

Seems even that is not possible now but I dont know why skoda would discontinue them completely without replacing it with a version that fits:(

cheers for the link gaff, i hadnt seen the email with the thread update. ive emailed them for some info on it.

to answer my own question with skoda i phoned them the other day. They confirmed the estate spoiler is discontinued but the girl said that they are looking into developing a replacement but they were waiting for some measurements! Not sure how they havent got the measurements of their own car but there you go.

hopefully something will be out soon that I can get fitted after ive got the car.
