New Octavia Daylight Running Light

Featured Replies

I have just bought a new 2010 Octivia Elegance 140 DGS and it has 2 extra bulbs in the fog light. Is this the DRL lights and how do you get them to work? The manual says use your indicator switch but nothing happen.

Any help would be appreciated.

Also notice that they in no clock option in the new radio touch screen so passengers can see what time it is

Already lots of discussion on this - prompted by the particularly vague response from Skoda UK on this subject. Suggest you read this:

I have exactly the same issue as yourself; i.e. got the DRL lights physically in place, Maxidot, Light package and an instruction book that tells you how to switch them on and off - except nothing happens. I have had a fair amount of correspondence with the dealer from whom I bought the vehicle and after an initial response which was the equivalent of "can't be done mate" they have now done a bit more research on the subject and my car is going in for them to see if they can modify the software. If you search this forum you will find more than one example of 2010 Octavia owners who one way or another have managed to get their DRLs activated.
