Featured Replies

Hi Everyone

I am looking for the correct part number for black diamond predator pads for my Octy 1 VRS . The ones listed for this car are not the same shape has the ones on !! Apparently this is quite common ?

Can anyone tell me which ones are right for this car ??

Cheers

Its 2 letters then 312 have a look on europerformance. One thing tho. They come with sensors on but they are not the right connection. Just take the opne off the old one (passenger side iirc) and either put that on or just join the cables and plug it back in.

My advice is DON'T Fit them, they are awful, I ran a set of these along with discs, they were fast wearing, ineffective ( the standard ones were better) and created loads of dust! recommend DS2500 ferodo's or the DS2000's if they are a bit much but I got 70K out of a set of DS2500's with BD Discs on my 1st Mk1 vrs and on trading my car last week with 88K on it had done 65K on them they were still going strong....just make sure you follow the bedding in instructions to a T B)

I thought the Predator pads were ok but still had fade although they were better than O.E pads.

Thanks guys. I did look at the PP312 but the shape diagram doesn't match the shape of the OE pads on the car ! That's what's confused me.

You need the same pads as listed for Audi TT 312mm discs. I have the BD combi discs, work ok with Mintex extreme pads. I have Predator pads that are part worn but never fitted them. They look very hard material and i have heard bad reviews on them fitted to other VAG cars. May test them later on when front pads need replacing.
