I was going to say something rude, but I am at work, so I thought better for it :-)

I see it has DRLs fitted in the bumper. Someone has a spent a few quid on it - grooved disks too.

Silver ones are the fastest ;)

Like the grooved brakes. And interesting to note the gearstick mod

Hi Sean,

Welcome to the Vrs society. Your car is a really nice tidy looking one, as Jaymd said "and Silver IS the best colour.", andddddddd I have read,

they are spose to be faster emoticon-0140-rofl.gif than any other colour, not sure if thats true tho lol, but hey still fast and stealthy.

I have had mine for 4 years now, its the best value for money car ive owned, still brings a smile when i go for a drive.

Enjoyyyyy !!!!!!!!

Peter

NB: yeah what is that round the gear stick ???

Appreciate the replies guys thanks, I never noticed it on here which is a shame, dealer had it on at 4k but nocked him down as it had little MOT and TAX now has a years MOT just required a cv boot and rear pads please excuse the gear stick lol it's just some hawian flowers :) if you all want a laff I'll post a picture of my rear light!! Like the look of the badges will be after some of them in the near future as have slight corrosion.

Current mods on the car I know of are:

quick shift selector

xeon lights, (aftermarket ones)

Grooved disc's

if anyone knows anything else on the car then please let me know thanks.

I like them.

Red ones go faster btw...

Hi Sean,

Nice motor!! Liking the lights too!!!

Red ones go faster btw...

Nooooooo!!!! Silver is the fastest colour!!!

Especially the ones with 'TAXI' signs on them! Lol

Steve

nice and clean but the audi leds look pap

I was going to say the DRL's have a very close match in hue to the head lights. This is often the difference between them suiting a car or not.

In your case, they look good as it is. If you had halogen head lights though, not so sure.

Looks good, welcome to the site.

May I recommend some autosol and fine wire wool for your dirty pipe.

good call I have some autosol actually never thought to use it on the tip.

I'm still not sold on the lights yet, plus I find myself getting flashed at, at night proberly due to blinding people! ;) which is getting annoying.

I must say tho I'm in love with the Octavia as a machine easily the best car for the money in the large hatch bracket, just need to make it my own and give it some tastful mods.
