PAS fluid

After having my cambelt and aux belt sorted recently, the PAS level is a tad low (hence the PAS system is also being a bit noisy). Can I get the replacement fluid from Halfords or should I risk leaving it until a local dealer can get the parts in? I don't know if the fluids can be mixed (like the VAG coolant doesn't like being mixed for example).
