My standard shocks and springs have been on my car from new. Now it's coming up to 117000miles and I had some vrs shocks and springs lying around at home for ages. Would they fit onto my car coz I am planning to change my wishbone bushes soon. Thanks.

I think the shocks will be a straight swap, the springs I'm unsure as the vRS is heavier due to the six speed box

Front springs might be a little too strong, but I can think of worse spring mismatches (eg putting vRS springs on to a 1.4 petrol.....)
