The Octy's now racked up 10,000 miles!

My car is on variable service, and says the first one is due in 4,000 miles on the indicator.

What are peoples experiences with petrol vRS first service costs? It will be going to the dealer I purchased the car from as they have a very good reputation.

£142 last year but that was on fixed servicing, veairable is going to cost you more as it's more like 2ed year on fixed. That was for me £320 with brake fluid and air con service :( !!

Just had the first 10,000 mile service on my petrol fl vRs and it came to just under £100 - basically an oil change and check up

So what is cheaper in the long run? Fixed or Variable...seemed like a no brainer, but if 1st service fixed is half the price of variable and the mileages ar 10K and 14K respectively it doesn't seem so cut and dried?
