Took delivery of my new Fabia 1.6tdi SE on wednesday morning , and very nice it is too! only the 75bhp engine size but thats fine for me

A couple of things though, not set up by my dealer

Anti-Hijacking

Couretsy Sweeps on the wipers

Also have Alternate speed indicator set to KPH can this be changed to MPH?

Its going back on Tuesday for the Anti Hijacking to be set-up thought I would ask the folks of Briskoda if there are any other popular codes that you use. and i will askthe garage nicely if they can code them for me too.

I've posted elsewhere regarding the adaption of the convenience module which includes the anti-hijack locking of the car. Make sure you get the dealer to enable auto unlocking too so that when you pull the key out ALL the doors will unlock.

If you don't you'll find yourself using the button in front of the gear lever a LOT..to unlock the doors you haven't exited from (e.g. to get a jacket from the back seat)!!!

My second speed readout is set to read kph too. I haven't found a way to alter that (don't think there is one for owners at any rate).You'll have noticed there are no kph sub-markings on the speedo dial.

Haven't tried the wipers yet (I know strange for Scotland!!) but I'd be interested to see if mine does the courtesy wipe or not.

You may also have noticed that vehicle status does not appear in the menu - I gather that there has to be a fault registered for that choice to appear in the menu.

I presumed that the alternative speed indicator would be set to KPH if UK (Imperial) spec setup and it would be set to MPH if a Continental spec (metric) is set up. If i find out that the dealer can do it I will post ion here to let everyone know.

Thanks for the tip on auto unlocking, if i remember correctly it was already set-up on my old Fabia!
