vRS - Original alarm/immobiliser?

Featured Replies

Apologies if this is covered elsewhere, I did a search but couldn't find it.

I just want to know what spec the original alarm and/or immobiliser is that came with the vRS (i.e. cat 1 etc)?

And out of interest, if it was for example cat 1 when the car was new (7 years ago in my case), does that still count as a cat 1 immobiliser today or because technology has moved on it would no longer be classed as cat 1?

The vRS did not originally have an alarm. Some had deler fitted ones, but none left the factory with them.

Deadlocks and an Immobiliser are standard
