Original delivery date to dealer was late July

This was now supposed to be with them on 13/14th this month which I did accept as reasonable due to backlog

Got an email this morning from my dealer saying my car never got the boat last Saturday and the next one is due on the 21st..

This means i would not have my car until October...!!

I am so close to cancelling it now..

Getting sick of Skoda's excuses.

At lease your dealer is giving you answers.

I have called twice and emailed twice about a build date for a car I ordered a month ago and as yet no response.

I wish I had order my car from a certain forum sponsor but decided to go local incase of problems.

I can't really afford to write off my deposit, if I could I would be doing business with another dealer.

Lesson learnt!

I had my one ordered around a month before i got the original build date.

I ordered May 5th

Build date WAS set for week 25

That was short lived.

Experiences seem to vary greatly.

I ordered my car on 22 May. Within two weeks I was given a build date of Week 33 (9-15 Aug). Rang the dealer during Week 32, and he said that everything was on track, and it was indeed built the next week.

Car arrived in UK during Week 35, and reached my dealer on the 30 Aug and I could have picked it up on 1 Sep, but I left it until the 4th.

So, 15 weeks from order to delivery. I guess I was lucky.

My VRS will be 7 months from order to delivery. Ordered June and expecting delivery in January 2011 having been originally expecting delivery in October. There will be a compensation scheme albeit I do not believe it will add to much. You need to make sure your dealer knows the scheme and will progress it for you with Skoda Customer Services.Apart from that there is not much any of us can do if we want a new Skoda. It really is frustrating isn't it?
