red light in drivers door.

Featured Replies

Right I know its ment to blink when the system is on and if there is a fault I'd stays off/ imobiliser off.

But what does it mean when it flashes faster than once a second?

Cheers

Billy

Maybe an early warning system to indicate water in the loom

In reality I don't know - sorry.

IIRC if you have an alarm it is supposed to flash quicker than normal if the alarm has been set off. Does it flash quickly all the time or only occasionally?

It was ok, never noticed it till the other day. I have already done the drivers door thing for water.

Only factory fit stuff on it.

Could it be low battery? Either car or fob? Everything seems to work fine on it.

Next time the door gets stripped will be for sound proofing and speakers lol just don't shout it too loud lol

Almost similar problem except my light just stays on, backup battery (is there?) dying?

Light on all the time means the doors are not deadlocked (assuming there isn't an alarm fitted).
