Is it possible to retrofit some form of remote control to the Bolero radio, Octavia II?

yes steering wheel control would be fine, what is required to retrofit ?

Nope, not that I know of.

To my knowledge it doesn't have a remote sensor fitted.

Unless he means the controls on the steering wheel? If thats what the OP means then you can fit them.
