Sorry didn't write full explination...cookin dinner.

I was approaching a corner and was going slow & not sure if If the light came on under breaking or while crawling in second, It only came on for a second or so & beeped at me twice, at first thought it was hand brake but was that ear piercing no fuel beep.

Have driven the car around since & "tested" the breaks & no lights or beeps..

Do ya rekon I should take it in?

maybe just low fluid level!

level's under the battery on a vrs so its a battery out job top left of engine bay beside egr valve

pretty easy though

Where's the thanks button when you need it!

Is it an easy job? no torx bits or anything?

Will have a go at it tomorrow, what a silly place to put a fluid bottle....

Any chance this is just an electical glitch/gremlin?

edit that im talking balony....

power steering is below the battery.....

brake fluid is top left of engine bay beside egr valve ;)

you may need a small funnel to top it up

Checked the brake fluid & all seems fine, if a little dirty!

Am still wondering if this is a fluke or may be something worse :(

Last service wasn't that long ago & had both rear disks & pad replaced!

Got a 70 mile journey tomorrow so we shall see...

Mine also did that when I went over a bump, but mine turned out to me having damaged the abs sensor :( the light came on and off for a few days then went solidly on.

Hope you don't have the same problem as me!

Cost me around £180 at a Skoda dealer, but you can have it done alot cheaper if you can find a decent independent garage.
