Does any one know if the standard 3 spoke leather steering on the new Fabia Vrs DSG is identical to the 3 spoke leather wheel with the phone option other than the phone facility? Dealers I have spoken to do not seem to know as all cars appear to be coming with the blue tooth option already fitted.

Good question! I believe the 3 spoke wheel is identical to look at and the £150 is a supplement to the £220 for the Telephone preparation GSM II Bluetooth kit, to enable the kit to be used with the steering wheel - come to think of it, how would you use the bluetooth kit without the steering wheel buttons - does anyone know? In which case the option perhaps should be bundled with the Bluetooth kit for £370 all in - marketing tactics at work probably!

There doesn't seem to be much knowledge at the Skoda Dealers re the bluetooth kit nor the Amundsen Satnav, both options I have ordered on my Candy White vRS Estate - there are additional factory options listed since I ordered mine (2/3 wks ago) in relation to sunglasses holder (which I assumed was standard!) and floor mats - I shall query whether I can add these with my dealer next week - perhaps our friend from ALLAMS can advise further on the 3 spoke wheel, also whether the red interior trim is available on UK cars?

Thanks for this Famandy . I also have noticed "options have been added recently" which I was told a month ago were standard? May be Skoda are getting greedy?

One dealer told me the standard S/Wheel is identical to £150 option other than the phone button but I will check with Skoda direct tomorrow.

I have also just ordered a candy white VRs but sadly not with all the extras you have. Happy Motoring
