Featured Replies

In the market for one at the moment, are they worth it? Ive been on clean your car and its about £40 which isnt too bad i guess but then i saw this

Will it do the same job?

cheers

That wont do the same job.

Get the proper one, and some proper foam for it,You will be well pleased with the results it gives.

No. It will not give thick creamy foam that a proper Snow Foam Lance will give you.

Get this:

Just got one from Clean Your Car in Slaithwaite. 40 quid. Works great. Phil emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Over at detailingworld.com they are running a Group Buy on the Autobrite Foam Lance.

Supplied with the fitment of your choice and 500ml of foam for £39.99 delivered.

I got this one (delivered within 24hrs).

With my Nilfisk C110 it's a great combination.

Ooo.. thats tempting..! Thanks for the shout out.

Does anybody know which lance fits an Aldi powercraft pressure washer 2.1Kw

Cheers

Matt

Follow the second link in #3 and compare. All the ones I've seen have the Lavor fitting.

Silly question but do these lances require the high pressure of a pressure washer, i only ask as i'm looking to buy one but the mains water pressure in our house is very poor. Will this affect the foam in any way?

Thanks, Jon

I guess I may be the one to answer this.......................

You have a couple of options here but both involve the Karcher fitment lance adaptor:

1) File the Karcher adaptor on the foam lance to fit your Powercraft lance, it only needs a small amount filing to make it fit;

2) Purchase a Karcher replacement lance for your Pressure Washer, this will then fit no problem.

I have very poor water pressure at our cottage, the pressure washer will basically just stop and start when it has water or not so it's not too much of an issue, obviously this wear's the pressure washer more but pretty much all you can do really. It will only effect the foam if it's starved or water, all lances have the adjustement on them to put in more or less foam and water...........

It is a licence to spend money but you will get some products that work for you and stick with them over time, the weather isn't great at the moment granted, washing in the rain is OK though..........

Haven't tried that myself but some people on DW have done just that, cheaper option is to just file the brass connector on the adaptor to fit, that's what I have done and no problems at all...........

Ok thanks, The adapter i have is plastic so should be fine to file down
