air bag switch?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am soon to be dad for the first time :thumbup: , and would like to know if there is a way of switching off or disabling the air bag on the passinger side of my car so that i can fit the car seat there when i take and can keep an eye on her instead of her facing backwards in the back!!:thumbdown:

I have a 2002 vrs

Many thanks

I think this was a dealer fit option when the car was new. not sure if it can be applied respectively. The only option might be via cag-com, but would you trust that 100%?

Congrats on your soon to be dad status!

So would i be able to get it fitted now???

you can always get one of those mirrors so when you look in your rear view mirror you can see the baby. Isn't the back the safest seat in a car? Congrats by the way

My mate and his misses do this on both of their mk4 Golfs.
