can anyone tell me why my revs have droped on tickover at the moment its ticking over at about 700 and feels a bnit lumpy at that rev

any ideas why its that low?

what should the revs be when the engine is idle and warm.

700-820rpm without climate control engaged or about 100rpm more with cc on.

It's adjustable with VAG-Com but that won't fix a problem if there is one:

I had this, in my case I changed all the little rubber vac lines for silicone ones, that made it 50% better and then I noticed that the Y shaped breather from the rocker cover was split, changed that and it was 100% fixed.
