Octavia sub enclosure & oem speaker upgrades

Featured Replies

In anticipation of my vRS arriving I want to get a few bits together

I was a thread on here and someone had a sub enclosure that fitted into one of the recesses on the sides of the boot - can anyone shed any light on who sells them, or was it a home made one? I'm only after something small to fill out the sound.

Also, what have you guys done about upgrading the oem speakers (what sizes are the originals?) and what can you reccomend?

Bugger! That would have been perfect!

  • 1 month later...

There is a guy on the Audi forums that makes a small replacement sub box and sub for the bose systems - he might be able to fab something suitable to fit

I get mine end of the month and the first thing I will be doing is fitting Ipod HU front speakers and a pair of subs - but then www.projectbigblack.co.uk is my hobby car ;)

Have you thought about a Blaupunkt mini sub that fits under one of the font seats ?

I am looking at going that way. ( When it arrives)

i think he still has it for sale

you can contact him under vrs_si

or check out parts for sale
