Octy Stream Ipod/MP3 Aux Interface

Featured Replies

Hi

I have one of the first Octavia Elegance Estates II - with No aux input. I am thinking about buying an aftermarket 'Connects 2' to enable Ipod or an MP3 player to be installed. I realise that I will loose use of the 6 CD change in the boot by doing this - but I was wondering if any knew if the reversing sensors would still work or if they share any CD Aux cabling?

Any experience appreciated,.

Thanks

I believe the rear parking sensors in my vRS were retrofitted (small speaker on edge of parcel shelf), but yes, they still work fine with the Connects2 fitted to my Stream.

had a Dension Icelink for a year (until it broke) and it worked fine, the PDC still displayed on the Stream unit. If the 6CD changer is important to you, you can keep it by using a special cable they sell, think its around £50, although I didnt bother
