Hi, my mum has a 2004 fabia elegance with original factory fitted sensors and they are starting to play up. When you select reverse gear the normal distance beep sounds 3 or 4 times but then it just gives a louder beep with a longer tone and then silence, even if your inches away from the object behind you they still dont work !

Can anything be replaced or will it have to be a whole new kit, thanks

Could be a faulty sensor. Take the car to the dealer and have it scanned for faults.
