Fitting replacement headlamp washer nozzle

Featured Replies

Hi,

finally managed to get a replacement nozzle from ebay (sorry again AlexAndJen!) and no thanks at all to Allams who did not respond to my several posts, PMs and emails. emoticon-0149-no.gifemoticon-0149-no.gif

Anyway, want to fit it this weekend. It has a little metal retaining clip which sits underneath, so it looks as though the bumper has to come off to get it on. Is this right? Anyone ever fitted one?

Thanks

Martin

Well, the answer is yes and no. I managed to fit this today without removing the whole bumper. I removed the screws from one side, just enough to get behind the bumper to fit the retaining clip.

Removing the headlight helps too.

Well done on fitting my your new washer jet, handy to know that the bumper hasn't got to be completely removed

Have you sprayed it to match?

No, I kept the original cover, just changed the nozzle bit. I kept the new cover "just in case". It would have needed spraying, it was a dark grey rather than black.
