Broken Furby - won't start. Help

My 2005 Fabia VRS is broken again!

I've had to shell out for a new clutch and Gearbox in the last 4 months ..so like my Furby - Im not happy :-(

Anyway - just wondering if anyone has an idea or could give me a pointer..

The car went into limp mode whilst accelerating onto a slip road. I eventually got to an exit and at a set of traffic lights turned the engine off - thinking it might re-set the Limp mode. Instead the engine did absolutely nothing when turning the key. All the general electrics work - but the starter did not turn / no solenoid sound or even fuel pressure up sound. Basically there is no life to the engine what so ever!?

Any ideas? ..Im going out to visually check the wiring continuity / fuses now and look for anything unusual.
