Thinking about getting a set of these off a mate to replace the front speakers. Specs don't look too bad...do they? Whatcha think?

50W RMS ain't too bad at all... My infinity Kappa's are around 100W RMS. But I don't know what the rating is on the OEM speakers - would be nice to know that.

Alpine type R's - really wanted to like them but rather unimpressed. Quite overpriced as well. looked very pretty tho!

Cheers, thats a pretty good explaination of them. Perhaps i wont get them off him then. After all I suppose the front speakers are the most important really.
