Polo 9N Sport seats

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have first dibs on a set of Polo 9N Sport seats, the ones shown here:

http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=325655

They're out of a 3-door so they have the seat folding handles but I'm not too bothered about that. I know they'll fit the actual car, but does anybody know if the bolster shape etc is the same as that used in the vRS/Sport/Bohemia? I may decide to fit them or use the bolster foams, have my heated seat pads integrated and get the interior trimmed in leather...

Thanks,

Andrew

Thanks for that Jason B)

Can't find the thread now.. but a couple of days ago a thread popped up where a guy had a vRS with comfort spec seats in as his vRS ones were very badly stained with a couple of rips.

It may have been deleted as it was a "how much is it worth" thread..

He said he still had the vRS seats and that if someone wanted to collect them they could have them? If it's just the foams your after, sounds like you guys could do some kind of deal.. of course, you'd have to work out who it was which could be quite tricky now the threads vanished?

Did you ever look into just buying the foams from Skoda? Or are the seats base different between vRS and non vRS seats?

That's interesting Rob, was that on here? That would probably work well for me :D

Funny you should mention, today is my first day-off in ages, so I'm about to nip up to the dealers and see what they say ;) Not holding out too much hope, but worth a try.

Yeah, was on here but think it's been removed..

I'm not to keen on the Polo seat shape myself.. don't like the flattened peaks.. The skoda sports seats just seem a little less "stylized" to me.. a tad more classy in there form, or foam ;) hehe!

Plus, unless it;s just the picture.. the Polo seats look a little bit more light weight?

Right, finding the guy could be a mission then...

Yeah, I see what you mean, that's why I felt the need to ask on here, I wasn't sure! :giggle:

For a full set of vRS front seat foams, the dealers want £300.46.

Eh, no thanks... :giggle:

Those seats in the picture look much better with grey centres not a fan of the red

They'd be getting retrimmed in dead cow :giggle:

Right, I now own the seats. Still not sure whether to use them and have it all retrimmed, or sell them on and wait for some vRS jobbies... :S

Either way, I have to integrate my heated seat pads.
