Armrest

Featured Replies

Hello!!

Does anyone know if you can buy and how much for a centre armrest for my octy as i feel there`s something missing up front.

If so how hard are they to fit?

Thanks in advance

My local skoda dealer sourced a leather one they are made up of a combination of parts and I think it came to

Before you order one go and have a look at an Octy with one fitted and see if you like it. There has been split opinion on whether they are worthwhile on here ... or whether they just get in the way the whole time when changing gear / using the handbrake :)

With the arm rest in place, it gets in the way when you try to engage the handbrake, you have to "push" the lever up instead of "pull" it up. :thumbdwn: Of course during long motorway journeys it makes life easier.

Personally I love it.. the trick is not to lock it level, but to put it one click "down"... mine is never up...

..ahem... :D

They come as standard over here. as Ian said above, mine is never up either ;) and I use mine in the horizontal position ;);):D:thumbup:

pretty much always down and never level. i think the lowest position, perfect for gear changes and you learn to use the hand brake prperly with it down

I now follow the Tavia4x4 technique and can vouch for its effectiveness. Armrest now permanently down, and I've got used to the handbrake thing now and the different way of changing gear.
