I know the prefered choice is coilovers, but the price and the effort used to fit them is more than its worth for an every day car.

Can anyone reccommed a good springs and shocks combo? wanting the 50mm/ish drop.

Or even a good set of dampers and springs? (if you can reccomend dampers please specify the part number, the bilstein ones are all in b8/12 etc)

cheers all

For ride comfort, the best is probably Koni FSD's and Eibach Pro-Kit springs but at best you'll get a 25mm drop...which is why I'm soon changing mine for coilovers! Sorry I can't be of more help, but I don't think there are many spring kits for the Fabia that offer a decent drop?

I don't think the effort is more than a springs/shocks combo personally. All four corners have to come off the car in order to do either. After it's in bits, the rest is as easy as Lego with a little bit of care added on to set the ride heights properly.

Any effort is likely to be as time goes by when you decide to adjust or remove them.

As for price...

Must ask if FK AKs are any good.

Out of the listed kits I'd say the H&R Cup and KW are both very good options in terms or build, ride and handling improvements.

Vindaloo, the FK AK are good for the money but are a budget kit, if possible stretch to the Highsports.
