VRS Rear Speaker Wiring

I have had a look at the sticky where the pin outs are listed but i'm not able to define which on the std rear speaker is the + and the - in relation to the colours of the wiring?

After modding the din in the front it was a devil of a job to get the new alpine unit in (read here tight no clearance) and i'm trying to avoid pulling it out again. The std speakers have a one way plug marked 1 and 2, so does anyone have a idea or have a manual to say if 1=+ or - and the same for no2 ? or falling that what colour on the rear L/R speaker wiring is +/-

maybe someone here has 6x9s and has the info from doing the job? or replaced the std rears

thanks for looking

Found the info cable colour codes are:

Right Back Speaker: Brown/Green - Red/Green +

Left Back Speaker: Brown/White - Blue/White +

Or do the old test of connecting a 9v PP9 battery to the speaker terminals and when the cone goes outwards the + and - Are connected correctly - just check which colour goes to which terminal and you have your + and -
