Hello,

I'm trying to get to the speakers in the front door panels of my year 2000 Skoda Fabia.

The Haynes guide says to remove the window winder, but I can't work out how to do it without breaking it.

I've looked at the thread made by Xavier, but this seems to be for a more modern (or better) fabia with electric windows! and the photo links seem to be dead.

Any suggestions?

You have to release a clip on the winders. Normally you pinch either side and then slide away from the arm or something similar. If you search for help on the door carrier repair then this will include how to do it, as it's normally the rears that leak!
