Pastyboy (cliff) is your best bet on here

He can make you pretty much whatever you want in a domed resin style.

Loads of people have bought them from him

He's just returned from holiday but does these for members all the time,

For your car Tas may I suggest something like this?

His most recent group buy is finished but you can get

more ideas here-----> http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/166853-retrocarboncolouredcustom-replacement-badges-part-2/

He usually does these all year round for individual orders so don't panic about

missing the group buy.

Hello Tas

As the wheel centres are bevelled in design when I removed the Skoda emblem and fitted the 'Retro' type they unstuck themselves.

Because the surface sticky is not particularly strong, and did not form correctly with contours of wheel centre, lifted off.

Recommend use new Skoda (original type) about £5.00 each for best result.emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Update (May 2012) removed damaged Skoda badge from its backing, a spot of super-glue in the high spots and the replacement stick-on badges,

are there for good, well and truly.LOL

Sorry to hear this however it's the only complaint i've had about them not being sticky enough. (even had one about them being too sticky! :))

I know some have taken precautions of adding a blob of super glue to affix them a bit firmer however i ran a set of my badges for a few monts and had no problem.

Tas you know where I am if you fancy some

  • 1 year later...

Having had a set of the vRS wheel centres for over a year now and not actually sticking them on, i'm going to get round to doing it this weekend hopefully. Before i stick them on, do i remove the original skoda ones or do these just stick over the top??

Anyone??

stick over the top mate as the oem ones are embossed into the plastic from what i could tell.Theyre also slightly dished aswell so dont know how well the vrs logos would stick to be honest.

I should be getting some VW wheel centres with my new alloys, do you know how they're designed and whether the vRS badges would fit over the top??
