I've always had my Skodas serviced by Express Garage in Herne Bay since they're very good, reliable and knowledgable (Pat, the chief mechanic, really knows his stuff). Now I've been told that their warranty repair franchise has been withdrawn, which is a real shame. Do SUK realise how much things like this alienate people? I've never been comfortable with the big dealers standards of "service" or prices. Is this withdrawing warranty franchises from smaller garages a new SUK policy? I had the idea that consumer legislation had stopped this kind of thing. :'(

You can still get your car serviced by them without affecting the SUK warranty as long as they are VAT registered and use genuine Skoda parts ( EU block exemption rules), just means they can not do actual warranty work on the car.
