40 year old paint protection

Featured Replies

good afternoon all! aswell as the fabia we have a couple of late 60's classic cars which we use for local shows etc and as its heading towards winter theyre going into hibernation, but before hand i want to give them a decent final polish/wax, i usually use good old autoglym & meguiars products, but is there anything anyone can recommend that would suit the 'old' paint better? they dont really get dirty and very rarely see water! [got caught out at 1 show this year thoemoticon-0112-wondering.gif] but would just like to get them sorted for peace of mind

What cars are they? Will depend on what you can use really - likely paint thickness and hardness etc.

Classics, I'd look at bilt hambers auto balm as it is designed for older cars and preventing water getting into chips etc.
