Which dealer are you ordering from? - although I'm close to you, I ordered mine from bradford, saving quite a chunk.

I was 26 when I ordered mine! Took delivery a fortnight before my 27th... . It's a cool car man!

Similar to my decision making process - not only is the Superb Superb (I'm well pleased with my 170 Elegance Combi after 3 weeks of ownership) one of its great plus points is that its not a BMW/Audi/Merc (almost anti brand if that makes sense - similar to Saab I guess).

Single man, with a big family car is so going to be a fanny magnet to women where the body clock has taken over and clicking loudly.

Don't worry, I'm 35 and just ordered the Estate with the 170 TDI and DSG... the old man jokes have already started... and that's just because it's an auto (although I tell them it's DSG, not auto)

Go for it.. i'm 32 and just taken delivery of my Estate Elegance DSG 170. Mates really like it when they see it...

Do watch out for Benfield - there customer service with me as a buyer of a Skoda and for Service of my wife's Kia has been VERY poor.

I ended up buying my car from DMK Bradford (i called in when on business one day - service was great!) as when asking, in the Benfield Showroom about the new Superb (While standing next to one) the dealer's 1st words to me were "And how do you intend to pay for that then?" - NOT the attitude a sales man should have, in my opinion.

When trying to get an answer out of them, with regard to Braking problem (Yes, Brakes!) they said the would phone Kia. Returning in under a minute, they said Kia have stated it's not a warranty issue. - Taking the issue to a better dealer, Kia replaced the parts, and recompensed me for my time. (The brake pads were disintegrating - it was NOT wear and tear, it was a warranty issue on Safety grounds, that they did not take seriously - Kia however, did. - thank you Kia)

So all in all, be careful with Benfield...
