Have done a search about this but found nothing so...

As thread title suggests, rear wiper has suddenly packed up on my 05 Octavia. Have rung main dealer, who says it sounds like the motor's gone. However a mate says it's quite possibly a 20p fuse, though he predictably has no idea how to check / fix this!

Before I spend several hundred quid getting the whole back of the car taken apart to diagnose the problem, can anyone comment about which is the more likely problem?

Not moving at all, still emitting screenwash when required though if that sheds any light
