scout leather heated seat confusion

Featured Replies

i orderd my 140cr scout (in rosso) back in july 17th including all the extras bar sat nav , after reading a few posts on the site i am a little concered that my car (build date 18 oct) will arive without heated seats as even though it says in the book heated seats are included in the alcantara option, on the web configurator it lists it as a separate option. cheked my order form and it just says alcantara leather in the factory option box at £1435 no mention of heated seats included. how do i check that they will be fitted without holding up the order.

also if , like many others , my car is delayed beyond 16 weeks ( hopfully it will not be) is this an unwriten cut off wait time for compo and if so who would i speak to if it came to it

From what I've read on another very similar thread I don't think you'll be getting heated seats I'm afraid.

There are a couple of other members on here who have just received their Scouts having specified alcantara and they arrived without the heated seats.

I believe Skoda have realised the error in their literature and are refunding the cost of the option to disgruntled customers.

Compensation for late deliveries seems to be at the discretion of the dealer. If it happens be firm but fair, make it perfectly clear that you are not happy but don't go making too much of a scene, your then much more likely to get cooperation from the dealer and a free courtesy car!
