My NS Rear door locks with all doors and then unlocks on its own when i press the lock button inside the car on the door and no longer activates the interior light and the little red "door open" light doesn't light or bleep....

any ideas?

somehow i knew from the title this had to be a thread from a 4x4 owner

there is a sensor inside the door jam... check its not mucked up... iirc its a little push button thing...

Thanks for ideas.... no good.... looks like a trip down to dealers to get it sorted, whilst still under warrantie - think i'll tie it in with a test drive of the new octy nd gets me moneys worth!

the switchs for the doors are not little push button wotsits but are infact integrale to the door catch, and they aint cheap.

my drivers door no longer switchs do the interior light and buzzer don't come on with the drivers door.
