I remember this car when it was first built it was featured in Max Power. It was pretty smart.

Although as time as gone by (was featured at least 10 years ago i reckon) I am not sure I think it's quite as awesome as I thoiught it was when I first saw it!

Always at a pointlessly high price, I think they just want it on their forecourt and not to sell it - maybe they have to actually list it for sale to keep Skoda HQ happy. Assuming it hasn't moved in all the time it's been for sale will probably need new brakes.

I suspect you could hire a nice garage/unit for a while, buy a nice mig welder and tools etc and have change left from £12k at the end of it if you made your own?

The car is currently owned by le car center, i had a sit in it last year when i bought my Fabia. Was very nice.

possibly yes. you can certainly pick up golf vr6's in pretty good nick for less than £800 if you look about a bit. not a good choice of engine for a felicia though.. better off sticking a cavalier redtop engine in there because it would be easier and probably faster

That car is at my stealer Garage!!! (been there a lot recently :( ) It doesn't look quite as nice in real life,looks like the paint is coming off. :|

I have to agree that it's probably a bit too pricey, but then again its a "factory" one off & if it was black & had leather interior It would be the ultimate sleeper

Anyone know why Skoda even commissioned this? Can't see it being research or they'd a done it themselves.. was it really just a promo stunt? And if so.. leading to what? Predates any hot Skoda's by a fair few years?

I'm right in thinking it's got the interior from a Fun, aren't I? Would look nice with a fun bumper with the hoop hacked off like I've seen on here somewhere..
