I think they are found wrapped around a section of the side impact bar? Might be to stop the door skin vibrating against the crash bar?

no that fits in the hole for your door mirror wiring to go through, it seals it from the outside cold/noise i assume.

Yer door mirror hole, got it all back together now, ta for your help, ahh what happened to the good ole days of just rods to operate the door catches :think:
