foggy drl and foglight

Featured Replies

Hi guys im hoping someone can help me. My drivers side DRL and fog light seem to be misted up at the moment and even when the light has been on for a fair while its steamed up. Obviously this is happening more now the mornings/evening are colder. Can anyone suggest a way of clearing it short of taking it back to the dealer? Im guessing there is water in it somewhere?

Thanks

Ben

Would say unfortunately it's back to the dealer; Superb II's had a similar problem which resulted in some needing new fog light units, my dad's for one.

Yeh one more thing im tempted to try is i can see a bit of water in there so im going to try taking the light off and drying it with some tissue over the weekend. Failing that then i'll take your advice and go back to the dealers. I had a c2 vts that developed a similar fault a few years back, the light got so bad it ended up going green with algae growing inside it.
