Dealers here's your chance

Featured Replies

Sold my Honda CRV. Looking for a Yeti 140 DSG Elegance with lots of extras. Must include electric drivers seat, spare wheel, off road pack and sat nav. Annapurnas would be nice.

Best price gets the sale.

N.B. well aware of DTD price and other on line dealers.

So it's taxis until it arrives then B)

Not really, since I still have the Jazz, which I'm intending to keep until the new version with the CVT box is available.

Sorry Rob, but I can only think of one dealer who regularly looks at this Forum..................

come on Allams, here's your chance.

Well, you never know who else might be lurking. :wonder:

If James was a bit closer he'd probably get the order. A quick trawl around the web would seem to indicate that, despite the waiting list, the DTD price is the bare minimum discount that should be achieved, especially as a cash buyer. :) :)

I would not hold your breath waiting for a Skoda dealer to get in touch with you-in the last few months I have emailed six dealers asking for the exact current mileage on the Yeti they have up for sale.

Just one dealer(The one up in Morcambe)bothered to email me back. Not a great response.

I'm not holding my breath but, if you don't ask, you don't get.

The easy answer would be to order online and wait.

It's a pity I didn't sell the CRV in time to avoid the VAT increase.

I can't match the DtD prices I'm afraid.

So I'd love to supply you the car but I can't get it quite a low as the internet prices.

See how you get on if you don't want to deal with the brokers and email me the exact spec you'd like. Also bear in mind 4-5 month wait for the Yeti!

Thanks James. You have email.

I noticed that one or two dealers are advertising on Ebay of all places, you might want to have a look on there.

I used a website called autofinders had my yeti within 4 weeks & at near enough £3000 below list price , ( 140 elegance 2.0 TDi ) they had a spectrum of specs .I can say there service was second to none , it is luck I think if they have the colour and spec you want , but worth giving them a call if you dont mind this restriction. It comes with a 3 year warranty , road tax and 3 yr road assist .

ps I dont work for them and I have no conflict of interest !!!!

I remain confused. There are 21 Yetis of various sizes and finishes on this site all with savings. Why do we read about long lead times, frustrated wannabe owners etc. when there are more Yetis, than potential owners, already in the country?

I could have picked a 60 plate car with the same spec as mine for £2000 less.

Mine is coming up for its 1st birthday next month!!

They dont have the cars in stock, they have them on order through skoda dealers. They pick what they think people want as extras then order the cars, then you come along and depending on where in the system the car you want is depends how long you wait.

There are lots of autofinders reviews on the web, some make interesting reading with regards to delays, cancelled orders, unable to fulfill the order at original price.

Hi Debeth

Just a quick question , How long did it take for Autofinders to supply you with the log book for your car?

Regards Peasant
