as above . columbus firmware updated . mfsw now working but not the maxidot. When the frimware uploaded the navigation was on the maxidot but i could get into the other maxuidot function's . then when i shut everything down and locked the car and went for a cup of tea i came back got in the car and the maxidot was back to normal but with out the navigatin function. d9ose the cambus need updateing or should i reload the columbus firmware and try again??

It might just need recoding with VCDS.

Have you tried a reset by pressing < , > and I together until the Skoda splash screen starts.

Otherwise it must be a damaged firmware.

After I did my FL, it was the same as yours. All coding was correct, Also tried rebooting it but that didnt work. In the end, leaving it switched off for 2/3 hours did the trick and it re-appeared in Maxidot.

Make sure all your coding is 100% first though.

yes i think it needs ercodeing. ned to get towbar electrics coded so thats the next job on the list,

Are the warranty seals in tact on yours in particular the bottom one? Contemplating it on mine ;)
