I pick up my Fabia 3 on Monday from a Citroen dealer in Stockport. It's the 1.4 diesel with 35000 miles and a cool reg date of 08/08/08. I'm looking forward to it replacing my 1995 Punto 1.7td that I've had from new but is now very sad and tired after 155000 miles with me.

Is there anything in particular to the Fab that I should look out for before I hand over just over 7 grand? All seems fine, it has a little more play in the clutch pedal than the Fiat or my Octavia than I'm used to and many more toys. I've checked the VOSA recall data and is outside the timeline for the airbag cockup. I'm pleased it comes with a spare wheel and jack, not sure if that was standard and two remote keys. It's a similar colour to my Octavia with the addition of a white roof, this is presumably to mask bird shxte or allow it to go faster. Any advise appreciated.

PS I like the white roof but don't tell anyone.

Shame you couldn't collect on Sunday 10/10/10 :yes: Should outlast the Punto; excellent motor the 1.4 TDI, personally prefer it to the venerable 1.9.

It's going to be a Tuesday pickup now, had a call from the rep a problem with the parcel shelf wont be fixed til then. I've a day off tomoz and was hoping for a play with all the toys :wall: .
