Headlight cover Part No

Featured Replies

I have seen a few headlight protectors on ebay but would like a definite yay or nay as to whether or not, or a part No. I am looking for a No. for MKI headlight protectors please.

Any updates?

ZGB 1U0 072 100 A is the part number for the genuine kit

mine snapped off at speed...

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but it it possible to replace the lens in the headlight without having to replace the whole lamp?

Mine is pretty badly scratched from the previous owner.

Any idea on part numbers?

It is... but be prepared to get the heat gun out. The glue is ridiculous to get off and only the bravest of the brave should attempt it.

Hmm, thanks for that.

I've heard you can put them in the oven to soften the glue, but I am worried about it softening the whole light, so to speak. :giggle:

Low oven say 120 degrees for 3-4 mins is just fine.

You can't buy the lens on its own anyhow.
