I seemed to miss out on the whole Left 4 Dead thing when it was first released, is it worth the punt?

I would say NO. :)

Only saving grace is that both L4D + 2 are cheaper now.

The games look nice actually, but I found them both very boring. The whole compulsorily CO-OP thing is just not for me.

We still have servers running for both games and L4D2 is still pretty busy with the kids.

If you are bored , hang on in another month and come play Black Ops with us :)

I say yes, had both since since first days and still palying now. I noticed on steam on Friday that L4D was only 5.99.

I played L4D on the xbox, and really didnt rate it. It was a completely different game co-op though, soo much fun.

I would not bother for the single player, but if you've got a bunch of mates to play with, you'll absolutely love the game.

What are you all nuts??? If you've got xbox live it's probably the funnest action multiplayer there is out there you get to play as the zombies in a mode called verses. Your with 3 other players it's so much fun, you swap between humans and zombies, if you don't have x box live it isn't as good a game I'll agree but xbox live all the way just try it I promise you won't be disappointed
