is it a clicking sound?

yes m8 driving me nuts

It's normal.

Mine randomly has fits of clicking and knocking every now and then.

I wouldn't say it's normal, but it is very common!

It's a nakkered V71 airflow flap positioning motor (not a big deal). Symptoms are a clicking/scratching noise from behind the glovebox, and a pulsing blower.

I changed mine 2.5yrs ago. New motor costs about £70, but it's fiddly as hell to fit. It's tucked up right behind the glovebox.

You should have an error code for it....

Do a search on it for more info.

I don't really use the recirculation so I took the whole motor off... No clicking noise anymore :giggle:

Took me 15min to get it off... if you got small hands, it's no problem to get it back

edit: dont know about RHD s... maybe different

Now that you mention it bodge, I do have a fault code stored for it. doh!

T' Be Right!

I've got a fault code for mine but mine does actually work. It just clicks when I set it from recirc to normal.

Mine works fine, and hasn't come back since I reset it yesterday.

Will probably come back though. Never mind.. £70 can buy a lot of v-power!!
